Some Tips for Using Gift Cards:

Tip #1

When ordering items online, be sure to retain your gift card even if it has a zero balance after your purchase.

If you return the item, many retailers will credit your gift card for the amount of the returned item.  You can safely discard the gift card when your item arrives in good condition.

Tip #2

Keep a small Sharpie with your gift cards and write the amount of the remaining balance directly on your gift card so you always know the value of the card.

Tip #3

If you're using gift cards to purchase gas, buy the larger denomination cards ~ that way, you can fill up your tank with only one gift card transaction.

The Cromwell Junior Women's Club is participating in an exciting gift card fundraiser!

We are selling negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use these gift cards to purchase everyday items like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, a monetary percentage of the face value of each gift card is earned by the Cromwell Junior Women's Club, Inc.

There is no additional fee to purchase these cards ~ the amount you pay is the face value of the prepaid card or gift certificate.

The purchase of gift cards through our club is an easy way to make gift card purchases instead wasting time and fuel by driving to each retailer.

Many of our gift cards can be used for online purchases in addition to making regular retail purchases.

Using gift cards for everyday expenses also can help you keep track of your monthly household budget.

Gift cards make great holiday and birthday presents, plus you can purchase gift cards for your out-of-town friends and family which can be used at their favorite neighborhood shops or restaurants.

You can help us raise funds for our community by making regular household purchases using gift cards.

These are purchases that you would make anyway!  Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased at our participating retailers.

As an example, you can purchase gift cards from local retailers such as the 99 Restaurant & Pub, Arby's, Barnes & Noble Bookstores, Blockbuster, CVS Pharmacy, Home Depot, KMart, Kohl's Department Stores, Old Navy, Gap, Mobil, Exxon, Staples, Stop & Shop, Dick's Sporting Goods, Toys R Us, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, Starbucks, Sports Authority, Shell, Sears, Showcase Cinemas, Marriott Hotels, Lands' End, Lillian Vernon and hundreds more!  Many nationwide retailers also participate with our program.
